Solange holds a librarianship degree and a postgraduate diploma in computer imaging. She has worked as a Librarian, a Tour Guide, a Teacher and Modern Foreign Languages manager for the largest College in London before turning her skills and energy to her passion: food writing.

She is a regular contributor on the Wellfed network in Paper Palate where she reviews cookbooks and on Just Baking, she was a finalist for the BBC Good Food magazine blog writing job. Her blog: Pebble Soup has won peer awards.

As she can't stay still, her work has appeared on travel sites and magazines such as Wanderlust, wikitravel, Hostelz . She also writes for Kwickecards.com and if you ask her she will tell you that it is thanks to her written contribution about languages in an academic paper that London won the 2012 Olympics bid.
